Residential Support Worker Opportunities (Mental Health)

£17,258 per annum, pro rata
39 Hours per week (£17,258 per annum)
37.5 Hours per week (£16,586 per annum)
22.5 Hours (Relief Residential Support Worker to work across Birmingham -
£9,952)
Post holders must be able to work 8-4 and 2-10 shifts Monday to Sunday. There
is also a requirement for the post holders to be available to work sleep-in
duties

With over 50 years' experience of supporting people with mental health difficulties within
our local community, we always strive to challenge the stigma that surrounds mental
distress.
Flint Green is a 15 bed registered care home for adults with mental health issues,
provides time limited accommodation for those who have a forensic history.
Pershore Road is a registered residential care home in Selly Oak. We provide a short-
term rehabilitation service which gives a period of intense support to adults who are
experiencing mental health problems.
Sycamore Lodge is a registered residential care home in Erdington. We provide a
medium level of support for adults who are experiencing mental health problems and we
have rooms for up to 13 people.
As a Residential Support Worker, you will work in partnership with people who are
experiencing mental health difficulties on an individual basis, using a person centred
recovery approach that focuses on maintaining and strengthening their presence in the
community.
You will have experience working in a residential care environment within the mental
health field. You will also possess excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to
record data accurately.
